Wow, you have a really long reading list (and the subjects/genres are so varied too!) I just finished the book The Magician’s Daughter by HG Parry (light fantasy + historical setting, so more magical realism). I enjoyed the unique take on familiar spirits, and loved the magical island setting 😄 PS: your story ideas sound great!
